Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born on 18 November 1985. She was born in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a primary school teacher in Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed an early talent for sports when she was attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting potential at the at the time. After her first audition, she placed within the top two places in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships, for 200 meters in a mere 10 weeks. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003 signed an agreement with Adidas. After that, she was accepted into an institution called the University of Southern California and studied elementary education. Her first Olympic medal was won at the 2004 Summer Olympics held at Athens Greece. Felix set an international junior record running 200m in 22.18 secs. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her become the youngest woman to take home the 200 meters race. In 2007 she defended the title by beating her Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top 3 throughout her races during the Olympics held during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
